DescriptionPlaster bust cast from a hand-carved stone replica of the original Nefertiti Bust, now housed at the Agyptisches Museum und Papyrussammlung, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, and excavated from Tell el-Amarna, Egypt in 1912. Polychrome plaster bust in the form of a woman, who wears a crown and an elaborate collar. The bust reproduces damaged elements, including the ears, and shows the missing eye replaced. Base is painted to imitate the appearance of wood.
