DescriptionChatelaine. Silk petit point, brown background. (Nun and novice with musical instrument?) Same on reverse. Piped with silk cord. Cast silver frame. Marked "VIII" on push button closure. Set with amethyst. Frame set with jewels. Face in center, squirrel and acorn and bird, flowers and leaves. Back frame has no "jewels" Some pearls, green chips and blue stones. Most missing. Chain handle with ring. No hook. Lined in jade green with pocket. Edged with metallic lace.
