DescriptionA medical doctor's balance with eleven weights. Balance is brass and mounted on white marble base. A removable pan rests into either side of the balance. Weights are kept in a small round tin box.
Weight set including two small brass trays 5.75 cm across and two write frames to hold them onto central hanger to balance. There is also included a small metal cup to hold the weights. Two (quarter drams?), one half dram, one two dram, one labeled 1/2, two small metal squares, and a small screw.
