DescriptionBrass astrolabe with detailed measurement marks on front and back and detailed, decorative outer and inner plate (rete) on front. There is a ring at the top to hang from. Markings on verso feature months and zodiacs. Front face features intricate rete for determining time, azimuth, declination, etc. Comes with descriptive page from F.R. Bolster.
