DescriptionMiniature portrait. An oval miniature painting featuring a portrait of a young man with short brown hair, wearing a white shirt and white cravat, and jacket with a black collar. The background is a light blue. The painting is framed in a thin brass frame, with a curved glass or crystal face. The painting is on vellum. The back of the frame has a smaller oval opening with a brown fabric (velvet?) inside. This opening is covered with a piece of adhesive fabric. There is a hanging loop at the top of the frame with a small bit of card still attached. Part of a set with 2011.5.2.On View
