DescriptionSheraton-style sideboard of pine with rosewood veneer. The piece has a straight front with a scroll carved skirt. The frame rests on four tapered reed legs ending in knob feet. The legs extend up along the frame forming reeded corner columns. The carcase has two tiers of drawers. The top has two short swallow drawers flanked by two square silverware drawers, below it is a double doored cupboard flanked by a pair of bottle drawers. All drawers are faced and banded with crotch rosewood veneer and have cock beaded edges. The drawers are fitted with rosette brass knobs while the cupboard and bottle drawers have oblong keyhole escrutchens. The back splat is plain with rounded corners, also faced and banded with crotch veneer.On View
