DescriptionFlint tinder lighter.
Flintlock with box lock configuration (hammer directly above box-shaped pin). Lock has a tripod beneath lock mechanism with a back tang leading down to a ball "pommel" and a fork at the front beneath the box pan. Trigger mechanism and main spring are completely exposed on the exterior. Steel/frizzen spring extends in front of the pan. On the left side of the box (when viewed from behind in shooting position with trigger at right) there is a small open cylinder attached to the left of the box and another small tab just to the left of the pan.
