DescriptionBrass clock face, square back piece with mounted ring bearing the hour in Roman numerals inlaid with a black patina. Inside the ring is the maker's mark, "Dan Tantum of Derby 1572". Above the "VI" is an aperture behind which a wheel passes with the days of the month (1 through 31). Of four triangular corner designs, two are missing. The two that are present represent two cupids holding the English crown. Hands are missing.On View
