DescriptionOne section (about 1/4) of a poncho-shirt, which has been cut and trimmed so that its original location on the shirt is impossible to determine. The weave is wool tapestry with a high thread count; horizontal warp cotton.both standard for the color is ochre with a vertical band 27cm wide in brown, pink, black, and indigo, green and white; the design of this polychrome band is of two vertical rows of rectangles containing stereotyped hawk and puma elements derived from the Tiahuananco "Sun Gate;" Similar elements vertically compressed occur in a narrow band (1.5 cm wide) at the extreme edge of the fragment
