DescriptionView of Rye Neck Creek. In the foreground there are rocks and sand, in the creek a green rowboat; a boy seems to be stepping out of his boat. On the opposite shore, rocks, grass and trees. To the left there is open water with several sailboats. The sky is threatening with looming grey clouds on the right but clears up somewhat (with patches of blue) towards the left; birds are hovering in the sky and just over the water. Their reflections can be observed in the water. Signed lower right. On View
