DescriptionCedar bark cape in conical in shape with an opening at the top, laced with leather thong, through which the head would be placed.. Brownish-red in color, the cape has a flat, gently textured finish. Strips of shredded cedar bark which are twisted into cordage hang from the neck. These strips are twined together with a white commercial cotton thread spaced approximately 2cm apart. The bottom edge consists of a short cedar bark fringe of approximately 1.3cm composed of the warp fibers.
