DescriptionUnglazed buff colored clay. "Frog" lamp made in a mold. Modelled frog on the top surface, pricked with a stylus. Looped handle attached to one end. Oil hole in center of frog's body, within a raised run. Lamp is "lentoid" shape: slightly flattened oval. No spout, the wide hole is in the middle of the front end. Red and blackened patches, especially above the wick hole incised in base.On View
