DescriptionBowl with five birds perched on upper edge. The outside bottom of the bowl is painted in a rust color (2.5 YR 6/6). then there is a thin band of dark brown (5 R 2/2). This is followed by two rows of a design consisting of a curved and a straight line in pairs (vertical). Then there is another band of brown and a third row of the same design except that the pairs are at an angle. The birds are each sitting on sections of the rim which were separated by cutting out five pieces from the top of the bowl. Two of the birds are rust color with a brown eyes and beaks. The other three birds are off-white decorated in brown.
