DescriptionA beaded bag, possibly either a match pouch, strike-a-light pouch, or a paint pouch. Decorated with white, yellow, red and blue seed beads. A yellow rectangle is located at the center; above and below the rectangle is a blue and yellow star (cross) design with red triangles to the left and right of the stars. The lower portion of the bag is trimmed with red and the bottom and upper edges are trimmed with white; background consists of white beads. A triangular tail is attached to bottom of bag; decorated with a blue and white star and white triangle on red background. An undecorated piece of leather serves as a flap. A strand of brass beads serves as a handle. The beading technique is the lazy stitch; sewn with cotton thread.On View
