DescriptionDark in color, scraped smooth on outer surface, finely polished and thin. No projecting muli on this example. Muli is polished smooth. Kava cups are made from the muli end of the coconut transversely cut. Through the projecting muli a transverse hole is usually bored, through which a sennit braid is usally attached.
