DescriptionPoncho or "tiputa". Bark cloth painted in blue, brown, and black. Fringed. Hole in middle for head. Rubbed on tablet. Design: short, parallel lines extending from one long line. One strip width-wise consisting of concentric diamonds, brown triangles containing one motif each, centered. Motifs used are three leafed plant, seven-pointed star with circle in center, circle with series of small hook-shaped figures along outer circumfrence. Fringe is a perforated border. Blue on this tapa is brighter- closer to royal blue. Center hole for head is diamond shaped.On View
