DescriptionPlaited palm, leaflets left attached to half the splint ribs, then alternate ribs are pulled backwards to be plaited. Ends knotted together and slid under a rib.Minute baskets were called such because it was common practice for samoans to make such baskets in front of tourists in one inute.
