DescriptionScroll with figure of Goddess Kali. Green silk covering scroll with red strips of fabric on top. PIctured at the center of the scroll, Goddess Kali is entirely red with sharp teeth and an extra eye on her forehead. She is heavily jeweled with gold, a tiara of skulls, and a long necklace of skulls. In her right hand she holds a curred knife; in her left, raised above her shoulder, is a blood-filled skull cap. She is wearing a long green scarf that flows around her body. She kneels her right knee on a female corpse, while her left leg is up in front of her left shoulder. Her genitalia are exposed. She stands on a sun-disk and lotus blossom and is completely surrounded by an arch of flames. Below her is a large shell filled with nectar (?) and a large skull cap filled with blood in offering.
