DescriptionCup and saucer from George Washington's teaset given to Capt. Horace Bucklin Sawyer by Washington's secretary. White background with a design of sprays of bright blue flowers and green leaves. Narrow gold rim. The saucer is deep and the handle of the cup has a leaf and dot pattern in gold. It terminates in a small head.
