DescriptionMale kachina with highly elaborated decorated helmet mask with a cloud tablet superstructure, from the top of which project turkey feathers and long grasses; phallic symbols dominate the designs; top is surmounted by eagle feathers tipped with branch feathers; a cluster of feathers is tied to the back of the mask along with a yellow snake-shaped stick which has black dots on it; collar of spruce around the neck; body painted black; hands are white along with the arm bands; black designs on forearms, stomach and back; black and white yarn from the right shoulder, under the left arm, around the back; rattle held in the right hand; arms close to the body with the hands forward; white kilt with an elaborate sash that ties and hangs at the right; white crisscross designs on the outer calf on black legs; rawhide tied around the ankles and feet painted red brown; hands carved to represent fingers
