DescriptionInterior of the Rustem Pasa Mosque in Istanbul. Shows four men meditating on the floor in the lower right corner, faces blurred. Centered is a stairway called a minbar, leading to a platform with a stool, which the khatib ascend to deliver the central sermon of midday prayer on Friday. Interior is made of inlaid tile walls with designs called Iznick tiles.
