DescriptionReceiver part of separate receiver and transmitter set, made up for Mr. Scribner by Westinghouse of Chicago, and was used in Williston between Brown's Store and Mr. Scribner's father-in-law. Scribner was superintendent of Chicago factory. Made by donor, one of the ten first telephones made by his efforts.
