DescriptionBlack and white photograph mounted on grey board. Photo of a cathedral's campanile in Florence. The cathedral is to the right, the western end of the building. The campanile stands taller then anything in sight. In the foreground is a courtyard surrounding the campanile, with buildings forming the courtyard. Some people can be to the left and look miniature compared to the campanile. Was first begun by Giotto in 1334, continued by Francesco Talenti around 1359.
