DescriptionTwo hanks of flax.

Long strands of flax fiber wrapped around four slender pieces of uncarved, unpolished wood (they are essentially sticks); part of the sticks are visible outside the fiber. The fiber has a brown-orangey coloring. The sticks are a red-brown color with exposed parts of lighter coloring. There are two separate pieces here; both flax fiber, one is wrapped in those four sticks, the other is only fibers. See drawing on paper record.
