DescriptionBowl with four modelled birds perched on the rim. Three are entire birds; the fourth has a modelled head and body and wings painted on the side of the bowl. Stylized representations of birds are painted in two colors, dark red and brown, outlined in black against buff slip. The bottom has a band of brown just beneath the straight sides; it is painted a dark buff. Repeated pattern around the sides of the bowl are maize heads.On View
