DescriptionTusk is ivory -off white and grey color on outside and bottom. Golden brown to black colors on inside. Open end is held together by a knot of either leather or plant fibers. At opposite side there is a woven mat of leather/plant fibers connecting to a thong of leather/plant fiber which holds a large piece of wood in place. About 1/2 way up the wood a small area is carved down and a braid of leather/plant fiber has been placed which is no longer secure and so moves up and down on wood. Close to the top of the wood there is another thong of leather/plant fiber. Hole in the top of the wood. (diagram on back of catalog card)
