DescriptionAxe head has two protrusions, one at the rear and one on the blade side, both at the top. The handle is long; the upper portion a long metal sheet hammered on to secure the head to the shaft, and the lower is carved wood decorated with brass. The brass is carved and intricately etched, set in bands carved out from the wood. The bare wood sections are also intricately carved. Along the bottom is a thick, long metal band, carved with geometric patterns and put over the end of the shaft. There is a carved wooden knob protruding from the shaft. The head is a thin open face.
