DescriptionPlaque in relief showing a standing figure with right leg bent and crossed over the left, leaning with left arm on a lyre on a tripod on stand. The head faces left. Framed by draperies. Naked except for arranged mantel and sandals. "Represents Apollo with his long hair tied in a knot above his forehead." [E. book] Used to decorate wooden caskets, 3-6th century made in Egypt. Possibly jewel boxes or Furniture Ornament."
