DescriptionFive piece ensemble consisting of a black faille skirt with matching jumper bodice, two interchangeable blouses, one of turqouise taffeta and the other of black ruffled gauze, and a black quilted petticoat. The skirt is composed of 3 panels fitting closely above the hips while retaining fullness at the bemline which is trimmed with 2 ruffles. The tight-fitting bodice has a scoop neckline with 12 metal bones. The neckline and armholes are edged in black qauze ruffles. Both of the blouses would be worn under the bodice and come equipped with a series of strings that could be secured at the skirt's waistband. The quilting on the petticoat was done by hand.On View
