DescriptionRough, light grey stone carved on the front with what appears to be a crouched wild turkey. The sides of the palma are parallel until the upper portion where the wing forms bulge out laterally. Shallow carvings done is line circular design motifs throughout the main mass of the figure. The bottom and back of the stone are without carving except for a shallow groove. This is a stone replica of the type of equipment used in the ritual Ball Game. Its function is illustrated in the ball court panels at El Tajin, V.C.On View
