DescriptionWood boxes, two, hinged, lidded. Boxes have paper labels with inscriptions in ink. Boxes contain 90 lantern slides of ice crystals. Most slides have paper labels, reading "W.A. Bentley's Photo-Micrographs of Snow Crystals. Lantern Slides by G.W. Perry, Chester Depot, VT." Most of the ice crystals or "snowflakes" are surrounded by paper mask, either circular or cut to fit the contours.
