DescriptionDark brown ware head which has been broken off at the neck. The head has a smooth, rounded and high forehead. The eyes are large and almond shaped. The nose is long and angular. The top lip appears to be turned back. There are pieces of clay that come from behind the ears that could be hair or ear ornaments. The reverse of the head is concave. Incised ornament on upper side of forehead. A rather unusually large example of the Las Bocas "Olmecoid style".
