DescriptionThe head from a large solid flat figurine; The figure wears an incised headdress or turban which begins directly above the eyes at the side of the head and continues to a knot at the center of the forehead; the eyes are long sits with holes in the middle; the nose is broken, the pinched-formed mouth is open, and there are two ear plugs; The style is plain and has little detail; Coarse buff clay, no surviving slip or paint; Mouth is parrot-like; Unusually large for style and presumed date
