DescriptionFrom a large, solid figurine with curled upper lip which was made from a pill of clay added on, open mouth, broken nose. The eyes consist of three horizontal holes placed in an oblong raised (.1 cm) layer of clay. No other facial features exist. The headdress consists of 3 incised lobes that give the appearance of dressed hair. The "baby-faced" features are related to the contemporary "Olmeciod" style of Central Mexico and Vera Cruz.
