DescriptionBlued steel frame, barrel and cylinder. The hammer is also made of steel, but it is not blued. The wooden hand grip plates are walnut, oval trigger guard is made of brass. The cylinder has intermediate recesses or hammer rest knotches between the cones. The barrel is octagonal and is threaded where it joins the cylinder. These threads are exposed. The inside of the barrel has five grooves cut in a spiral pattern (5x5 rifling). Manufacturer's name and date stamped on top of barrel. The serial number and the letter S are stamped under the barrel. "A" and "L" are stamped on sides of barrel. Groove rear sight and blade front sight at muzzle. Vermont 62323.
