DescriptionA twelve shillings note printed in Burlington in New Jersey. On the front printed in black is a skeletal leaf pattern. Along the top are eight faces. Below the faces is, Twelve Shillings, below that, To counterfeit is Death. At the bottom is Burlington in New Jersey, Printed by I. Collins, 1776. The back is printed in black and red. In red is written, This Bill of Twelve Shillings Proclamation, is en--ted by a Law of the Colony of NEW JERSEY, passed in the Fourteenth Year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the Third. Dated March 25, 1776.
