In the upper left corner just behind the map is a large red circle. Across this and the upper part of Maine is written in large white letters outlined in black, BYS OF NEW ENGLAND. Just below this is a rectangle outlined in black, with words in black talking of the YMCA WAR WORK FUND. Below Maine and to the right of the rest of the states are words in red, DO YOUR BIT AND WEAR THIS BUTTON. A circle is shown with a red triangle and the words THE FIRST 100,000. Below this in black it says THE MONEY MARATHON. It then explains that ten boys from each state were chosen to run a marathon to Boston Commons.
