DescriptionUncle Sam holds a young girl with his arm, a young boy stands beside them; above them are the words in red BOYS AND GIRLS! and in black HELP YOUR UNCLE SAM WIN THE WAR below the figures in black are the words SAVE YOUR QUARTERS and in red BUY WAR SAVINGS STAMPS; just below the figure of Uncle Sam is the artist's name and in blue letters W.S.S. WAR SAVINGS STAMPS ISSUED BY THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT; in the lower left corner FORM A-50; there is a blue border around the edge, but the white edge has been cut off leaving on the bottom edge only a small piece with the words AMERICAN LITHOGRAPHIC CO., N.Y.
