In left bottom corner is printed, "J.M.W. Turner, R.A. Pinxt." In rt. bottom corner is, "E. Brandard, Sculpt." In larger letters in center under picture is title. Beneath that in smaller letters is "D. Appleton & Co. New York." Written lightly in pencil is "6-3"
