DescriptionAn unsigned $1,000.00, six per cent Non taxable Certificate- It states: By Authority of the 14th Section of an Act of Congress approved 17th February 1864 It is hereby certified that there is due from The Confederate States of America and payable TWO YEARS AFTER THE RATIFICATION OF A TREATY OF PEACE WITH THE UNITED STATES unto_or assigns ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS, with Interest at the rate of six per cent Annum from the_day of _186_ inclusive payable on the first days of January and July in each year at the Treasury in Richmond or at the Depository in __.
