DescriptionCommemorative goblet for Edward VIII.Large goblet in commemoration of Edward VIII, King of England. Has a royal monogram/seal of "E VII R" (see paper record) with a crown above it on the goblet's body. Around the lip are his dates of accession and abdication "26th Jan: 1936" and "11th Dec: 1936" respectively. The stem is made of two bulbs and a spindle attaching to the base. An inscription on the base reads "This goblet is No 54 of a special issue of 100 only".
