DescriptionBust of a jackal carved in limestone, wearing a long wig. Portrayed with long pointed ears and snout. Narrow eyes. Nostrils drilled. Incised line for mouth. Indication of collar on breast between the wig over both shoulders. Represents Duamutef the protective genius for the embalmed stomac, one of four sons of Horus.
