DescriptionLandscape painting depicting a view of the East River with buildings and bridges, including the Queensboro Bridge, in the background. In the middle ground, there are numerous urban buildings, sited on Blackwell's Island (renamed Roosevelt Island (in honor of Franklin D. Roosevelt) in 1973). In the foreground, there is a building with a car and numerous figures, a paved road with a streetlamp, and a gray car. There is also a waterway with different types of boats, including a tugboat, with an American flag.
