DescriptionWooden war-club carved with symbol for fighting colored red on one side and symbol for tunder colored green on the other side. Near handle is carving of bird, red and decorated with burn marks apparently made with a hot file. Hole through end of handle from which hangs a 5 strand thong (each strand is wrapped with red dyed porcupine quills). Attached to the end of the thong are 4 feathers which have been trimmed to achieve a saw-toothed effect. Part of the shaft of one feather is wrapped with red dyed porcupine quills.On View
