DescriptionA large rectangle, of dark red, cotton, khaddar cloth pieced together from two smaller pieces with hand-sewing. Covered in shisha (mirror) embroidery of fine quality. There is a slit 1/3 the way down the c.f., and the remnants of lacing; this would have been the neck opening. Thie piece was intended to be one of the backless blouses, worn by the women of Pakistan and N.W. India with a full skirt and large veil, instead of a sari.
