DescriptionSilk sari with block printed floral design. Yellow ground patterned with red flowers and green vines. Alternating bands of three distinct patterns, 19 bands total; 10 band of 1" wide creeping vine motif (bel), separates each wide band of pattern; 5 bands of 3-1/2" wide pattern of floral medallions with intertwining vines and leaves (kalga); 4 bands of 4" wide single repeated flower motif (buti). Red border frames all edges of pattern; red outlined in black. Yellow ends without pattern mark the two ends of the length. Ends of fabric unfinished. No distinct pattern indicates end piece of the sari; design is symmetrical. Tag attached with letters and number: "P6x115."
