Descriptionwatercolor paper; box and book are hard bound an covered with blue fabric; the box in navy, the book in sea blue; dedicatoipn page "for Willow"; title page: "Geoffrey Chaucer, the Prologue, to the Canterbury Tales, (a print by Ronald King, the same as on p. 55); with original screen images designed by, Ronald King, Cirlcle press Communications" the copyright date is 1978; it is the 42/250th edition; signed by artist on p. 7; there is a three page Introduction by Kevin power; the text is large type; the margins are wide; there are original prints on these pages depicting these charcters: 3-knight, 7-squire, 11-nun, 15-monk, 19-friar, 23-franklin, 27-sailor, 31-wife of Bathe, 35-parson, 39-miller, 43-sommoner, 47-pardoner, 51-host, 55-Chaucer; the artist usually only used three different colors in printing, but in overlapping his geometric designs, new colors/shades appear; he developed a pattern of cross imagery, even in the foldr on the back, "the Clerk's Horse" which is an original print by King, signed in the lower right; "VIII" is in lower left; a poem by Andrew Crozier is also inclosed; th print is in mauve, beige and blackOn View
