DescriptionBrown, scraped smooth on outer surface, finely polished. Hole bored through muli end. Kava cups are made from the muli end of the coconut cut transversely. Through the projecting muli a transverse hole is bored, through which a sennit cord is usually attached. Outer surface incised with interlocking waves pattern, whitened with lime.
