DescriptionVerso: the bank of Lake Como borders on a garden. Two gondolas, near steps, leading to a formal garden with a massive iron gate, stone sculptures on columns are spaced along the railing. Behind the gate is a park. In distance on right mountains and lake, two figures seated and standing on steps. Under-drawing is in pencil. Recto: scene of Lake Como with mountains and castle in background. Clouds and sky represented in horizontal lines. A single boatman is poling across lake in barge. Lower right engraved, "Rezzonico. Lake Como".
