DescriptionAqua silk faiile ball dress. Bodice has very short, pleated, flared oversleeves and fluffy white tulle undersleeves trimmed in red yarn. The oversleeves are edged in scalloped aqua silk ribbon with a white woven-in floral design. The bodice is very fitted, fully boned, and has an oval neckline. The skirt is box pleated onto the bodice, and has a wide border of buff silk ribbon just above the hemline. The skirt is lined in a light weight stiffening, and a wide strip of glazed cotton at the hem, along with a strip of wool tape. The bodice is lined in white cotton twill, and the oversleeves in white glazed cotton. The dress has hook and eye closure at the center front.
